A "Pop Up" Garden Party

Slate kicks off the Fall season with an intimate 30th Birthday for Alissa. The "Pop Up" Garden Party was held in a well known Los Angeles Park - however this Event was the first time this venue was used in such a unique fashion.
Slate used earthy tones of greys and burlap to complement the natural environment of the Parks Arbor and the mood was set with a beautiful soft glow.
Laurie Soffa of Slate created an unbelievable menu for the evening which had to be prepared and kept either hot or cold during the event staging and throughout the evening as each coarse was served. The Menu included a cheese and charcuterie table during cocktails, a delicious salad followed by a soup trio, a seafood cold plate as well as a hearty warm trio of meats. All this was topped of with a unique Affogato Bar presented by the company Brew Ha Ha for all Alissa's guests to enjoy as the evening continued into the night. Entertainment was provided by the Birthday girl herself and her up and coming acapella group, The LA-LAs.
Local residents were in awe of the transformation of the Parks Arbor for the soiree and Slate will be creating up and coming events in the area due to the overwhelming response.
Stay tuned for Slates next event posting!
